This wine was first made from a single barrel that we tasted at Atamisqué in 2013. This was going to be used to blend in their top ‘Assemblage’ but we asked them to bottle it for Gaucho. That was just 300 bottles back then and we have been making this wine in small parcels ever since. Incredibly intense, ripe black fruits, loads of violets and lavender, with a touch of hibiscus. Beautiful purity on the finish. Great intensity. Drink slowly and appreciate the evolution of this wine.
