A simple lunch, a post-work supper catch-up, evening cocktails (ours recall the colourful atmosphere of Buenos Aires’ aperitivo culture) or a birthday celebration in our private room: it all happens under one roof – and it all starts with the elemental appeal of the flame. From classic pure-bred steaks lovingly prepared at the grill, to small plates including tuna tartare or scallops with mango purée, you’ll find the Latin American tradition of relaxed hospitality lives right in the centre of the city.
Amid Birmingham’s legacy of merchants and industrial pioneers, we celebrate daily the ritual of flame-cooking and sharing food among friends and family. Our specialty is pure-bred beef, just as our namesake, Argentina’s revered Gaucho, would treat it, whether rump, ribeye or marinated. Complementing our hero dishes are flavour-led plates that tip their hat to the ingredients of Peru, Chile and Brazil.
In the heart of the city’s financial district, our dining room is both energetic yet airy, vibrant but informal. Booth seating feels both intimate and friendly, perfect for sharing a bottle of full-bodied Malbec. Our tip? Well, we don’t play favourites, but we do have a soft spot for table 65 – a comfortable and private booth hideaway overlooking the restaurant. Ideal for cosy date nights, working lunches and relaxed get-togethers.
