Although it says Vista Flores on the back label, this wine is from Chacáyes, which is a new area at the top of this region. Very stony and cool, Chacáyes lies at the edge of the Andes, and so bears the brunt of all the cool winds coming down the mountain. Full of graphite and spice, this Malbec has high acidity and fresh red and black fruits. It’s intensity means that decanting would benefit the wine.
