Wine Shop Delivery & Returns

GAUCHO is a trading name of Gioma (UK) Ltd. The purchase of products from GAUCHO are governed by the below terms and conditions. Please read them before purchasing from the site. By using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

We will not sell or share your personal details with unrelated parties, partners or affiliates.

Gaucho are committed to keeping the personal details of its customers and visitors private and secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998

The only information we hold for our records are your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

We only use this information to occasionally e-mail you with details of our products and promotions and if you have requested any information from ourselves.

Your telephone number is taken as it enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem / query with your order. If at any time you wish to opt out of future e-mails then please notify us.

Re-Sale

Wines purchased from us are your personal consumption (this may include their use as gifts for third parties). Wines purchased may not be re-sold or otherwise used for commercial purposes.

Product Availability

We are slowly but surely building our range of wines to include all wines available at Gaucho from this website. If your preferred wine is not available, please contact wineshop@gauchorestaurants.com and we will arrange the delivery subject to availability.

Minimum and Maximum orders

Wine on this website can only be purchased in multiples of 6 bottles with a minimum order of 6 and maximum order of 24 bottles of wine. Should you wish to purchase less than 6 bottles of wine you can do so by visiting any of our restaurants in the United Kingdom. Wines and vintages advertised on this website are subject to availability and may be different to those available in our restaurants. We will always endeavour to find a suitable replacement and will contact you if a wine or vintage you requested is not available.

Delivery

Standard UK mainland delivery is 3-5 working days. Delivery times are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday will be processed for delivery on following Monday. Orders placed after 3pm on Friday will be processed for delivery on following Tuesday. If your order is placed on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday, it will be processed the next working day. We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sunday's or Bank holidays.

Standard delivery charge is £7.99

For deliveries in which a third party is involved such as offices, hotels, or places of business please indicate as much information as possible into the delivery details, i.e. hotel room number, flat number and recipients name and contact number.

Goods must be signed for upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address you selected for your order.

All wines and vintages listed on this website are exclusive to Gaucho and are subject to availability. If any wines or vintages are unavailable once an order has been placed, you will be informed as soon as possible via phone or email address provided. We will always endeavour to find a suitable replacement. Should you not be satisfied with our replacement offer we will refund you for total amount paid within 30 days of notifying us.

Faulty Wines

Due to nature of the product we cannot guarantee that it will not be corked (wine fault) or oxidised. If a bottle of wine is corked, oxidised or appears otherwise out of condition, provided it is still within the recommended drink date and has been stored in suitable conditions, we will arrange to replace the faulty bottle with a bottle of the same type of wine (or if not available, a bottle of another type of wine which is of equivalent value). Alternatively, if you prefer we will refund you an amount equal to the value of the bottle. We reserve the right to ask you to provide evidence of the fault and/or to collect the faulty bottle for inspection (at our cost).

Stolen or damaged wine

If you give instructions for delivery services to leave your wine outside your house or in a safe place and the wine gets stolen, we cannot be held responsible and we will not replace the order or refund the value of it.

All goods must be examined at the time of delivery. Claims for breakages will only be accepted if we are notified by email wineshop@gauchorestaurants.com or telephone on 02074329600 within 2 working days of delivery and the damaged products and their packaging are kept for inspection and the loss or damage is noted at the time of delivery. We will then arrange a replacement of the damaged bottle(s) within 2-5 working days. Should you not wish to replace we will credit your card for the amount of damaged or broken bottles within 30 days of you notifying us.

Returns and cancellations

Should you wish to cancel your order and return your wines for any reason you may do so provided wines are returned in the same condition they were sent and you have requested a return by contacting us on wineshop@gauchorestaurants.com within 14 days of receipt of the purchase. We will arrange a courier service to collect the wines on our behalf as soon as return request is approved and processed.

Once processed and approved a refund will be paid within 30 days of you notifying us. Any wines collected by our carrier must be in their original box and safety packaging.

Prices and payment

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and are per bottle or per case as stated. The prices include standard rate VAT (Value Added Tax), unless otherwise specified. Delivery charges are additional. We only accept payments made using World Pay services such as Switch, Visa, MasterCard or Amex as stated on this website.

Gaucho gift card

Gaucho issued gift cards can only be redeemed in the restaurant. If you wish to purchase wine using your gift card you can do so by visiting any of our restaurants. Unfortunately, we cannot process Gaucho gift cards in our online wine shop.

Age restriction

We won’t sell wine to anyone who isn’t 18 years old or over. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are buying a case of wine as a gift the recipient of gift must also be over 18 years old. Once the wine has been delivered to the address provided it becomes the recipient’s responsibility.

Force Majeure

We cannot be liable for any delay in delivering your wine if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the performance of this Agreement.
